Finally got the new compressor installed. Went ahead and swapped the dryer again. Going to try and re-charge it again this afternoon. Hopefully it was the compressor

Yeah it wasn't bad when I was younger, or driving across Greenville to get to work. Now that it is a 45 min trip both ways to work, and driving subdivisions, it is a beating. I am hoping it was just the compressor!

Blows cold! My buddy said the freon is getting hot at idle. If the fans were blowing or he had a water hose on it, it was fine. Gonna pull the grill and see if the fins on the condenser are clogged up

Running a little warm in traffic, just above 210, so my unidentified dual e-fan setup isn't drawing enough air when the A/C is on

Temp sensor hit 228-230 today. Definitely time for a new fan. The unidentified dual e-fan I have on it can't keep up with the heat and the added strain of the A/C. Is there a good source for Taurus fans in the Metroplex? The closer to Greenville, the better!

Roy Miller Autosalvage off of 380 east of McKinney. I put a monster Crown Vic fan on my old truck, ran on low it would never think of overheating. I think they had a few Camaros or even Contours there too. While there, get you 2wd 4 door blazer sway bars.

Thanks. Temp stays right at 200 travelling faster than 60 with the A/C on 45-60 its 210, any slower and it creeps up pretty bad. I need to get out there soon. Is that on the right hand side as I come in to mckinney?

what size alternator is on there? I had a mustang that with a taurus fan would get warm in traffic, and a 3g swap solved it. Guess the alternator wasnt putting out enough to run the fan.

It is the factory and I am not sure what the output is. I need to look at options for an upgrade. When the fan is turning it drops from 14V to 12V

Ya, north side of 380. Just ask them if you can look around the yard. Mostly pretty nice guys up there, fair prices.

Any idea about what a fan and swaybars will run?
