Had the trans temp light come on today. All sorts of issues. Slipping, coming out of gear, etc

Have the fluid flushed and filter changed. I didn't read the whole thread to see if anyone said anything about that. That happened to my B3000 pickup in town (wouldn't go over 5mph in 1st without completely slipping), so I slowly made it to a transmission service place, and had that done. Flushing will cause varnish to break loose and stick in the shift solenoids. Best thing is to drop the pan change the filter and fill with oem type fluid. Do not use any high milage high detergent type fluids."It's another burrito, it's a cold Lone Star in my hand!"
