                Yea, and the 2nd syncro gear will go out 100 miles later. Then he will throw your money back at you and tell you to never bring that car back.



                He operates a great shop, but that little fit he threw was unprofessional IMO. I would (and have) use him again.

                      yeah. Shifting issue isn't all. I has a pretty bad slip as well. Hell, maybe I'll just look for quotes to rebuild it. I'll break it open this weekend and see what I can see.

                        Don't take off the valve body unless you have a trans rebuild book, they have a order the bolts come loose so it doesn't fall apart.

                        Snap rings and springs after that!

                        (Dunno if the parts you need are easily changed)
