I wont touch them with a 10 foot pole. The 4.7 is known for HG and rod bearing issues and the transmissions are pure shit. They go dirt fucking cheap at auction and I still wont touch them.

where i used to work we would get 4.7 heads in atleast 2 sets every other day most would be warped and they would come in every now and then needing a valve seat or 2

pulled the codes. It was only throwing p1756 ( maybe 57) I can't remember off the top of my head. It is a transmission governor pressure sensor. I think I'm going to buy a used granny from lkq or something.

I spent the better part of the day cleaning it up. It amazes me how people will try to sell a car so damn dirty. After a wash, quick wax, wheel polishing, vaccum, carpet shampoo, leather reconditioning, some armor all scrubbing, and some new floor mats this thing looks way better.

Sorry Jeremy, but I have to point and laugh at you on that one, got hosed on the newer engine and 4x4!

The 5.2 isn't a bad engine but it's still a shitty dodge.

Plus side of this is you don't have to dick with a transfer case while swapping that shitty Chrysler automatic.

Lol. Go ahead. Tbh I didn't scrutinize the car that well. I like the 5.2 better than the horror stories of the 4.7, and like i said, I'd rather have the 4x2.
