I have a cheap Chinese made northern tool house brand compressor that is having some issues. It was running perfect until after the oil change. Original oil I was running was Mobil 1 synthetic auto oil. I switched to Ingersoll rand compressor oil. Now when I run it, I can see the oil start to foam up in the oil level window. Plus it's spewing oil out the breather vent cap. Wtf could be wrong?

I did only fill it to half way in the oil window circle, but to get to that point it took 2 pints which seemed like a shit load. Fucking Chinese pos doesn't have any specs with it or anything to tell you how much the oil capacity is.Last edited by spederman; 05-30-2013, 02:57 PM.2002 4.6L 5spd S281
