I KNOW its not some fancy like an E85 TT cobra or c16 TT 5.0 but here it is.. my 08 C6 coupe tuned by that Sam88GTA guy .. i guess that guy really DOES know a thing or 2 about these cars...Time to get rid of my sand bags and give him some props...
all parts are bought from Dallas performance. including all 3 blowers
Taylor was always awesome to deal with and getting parts through.
My builder/tuners name is Sam Miller and is well known in the LSX community for building FAST nitrous cars and boosted cars.
I have to thank Sam for always taking the time to answer all my questions ( and i ask a LOT of questions) and always do fantastic work on the car... his work is second to none in my opinion.
I decided that i wasnt happy with the numbers my F1R made on pump and through the filter with 4" pully (926/896) as over 6400 rpm it seemed to be running out of air.
We did a Direct f1R to F1X swap, moving over the 4" pully to the X. the 4" is not an overly aggresive pully for the blower. There are several running around with 3.6" pullies and the same crank pully size i have. So again, this is a VERY conservative setup and drives like stock.
eventually i will do bigger injectors and a clutch at which point we shall pull the filter, do a C16 kill tune
here are the results
93 octane/meth.
4" pully.
Dallas performance 4.5" Big mouth and filter.
STOCK NPP
stock ls7 intake.
