  • Alternatives to Seafoam?

The price of seafoam is ridiculous at $10/can. Are there any good alternatives?

I use stabil in my boat and lawn mowers but that's mostly just to keep things in check.

Im more interested in an engine cleaner not just a fuel stabilizer.
I looked up the msds and it looks like seafoam is only light oil, naptha, and isopropyl alcohol. I think Im gonna make my own and try it.

I've always been a fan of sea foam, but my car has been popping through the intake and stumbling, i recently tried BG's 44K. And it runs the best it has ever ran, its 20 dollars a can, but the shit works.

It looks like every engine cleaner on the market is naptha and something else added. BG 44k is Naptha and mineral spirit.

If the problem in question can be fixed by seafoam, $10 is cheap.

The car will run on it, not sure that the same treatment done on seafoam would work with b12. Not sure it wouldnt.

                  No problems. Just maintenance.

Try and catch it when it's on sale is probably your best bet.

I've ran B12 in the crank before, I've also mixed it with Marvel Mystery oil and put it through the intake with decent results.
