  • What I've been working on... And a fox molding question.

So for the past week, I've been clay barring, polishing and waxing my car. I also did the door hinge pins, a newer better steering wheel, fixed the door locks, LED conversion on my cluster and restored/refinished my 1/4 windows.

What can I use on my door and body moldings to clean and shine?

    Plasti-dip vs water spots.

That is a lot of work.

Nah, just the front bumper moldings because it needed something.

On the windows it is filler primer topped with black trim paint.

The picture of the plastidip is on the trunk, the whole car was oxidized and had water spots like on the left.. So grins I sprayed some on my trunk and peeled it off, it looked a lot better!

But damn did the clay bar get off some nastiness.

                      Yea that bumper is fubard!

I have another to put on, but It would need paint. Be goofy to have a fresh bumper and 20yo polished paint. :/ lol

                      It was a camouflage fix!

X 2 on sem trim black paint good stuff. You can use some Light body filler on 1/4 windows to get those deep pits out then 2k high build primer sand and paint. U think that's hard try sanding ur car down to metal and redoing everything. Just keep at it little at a time and come out good. Good luck

Doing the clay is a pita, but the payoff is always worth it.
