    Saw it at a local salvage yard. Was wondering what it fit.

    Its not a TKO.. or a 6 speed. Maybe a T-5 for a chevy??

                How does the gm nv4500 hold up in race applications?

                For a truck not a mustang, using 2-4 gears.

                      Texas Rat T-45, notice the starter mount area and boss for bolt, should use a 3 bolt starter

                          I had a 90' S10 shortbed with a vortec 350, and a T5 5-speed. (fun truck!)

                          But within a year I broke 3rd gear in 2 different T5's in it. So then I did a bunch of research, and found out that Chevy's NV3500 5-speed transmission (aka munchie) was the way to go. So I found a 1994 full size chevy truck with a NV3500 in it, did the transmission swap in my S10, and didnt have any problems with it after that.

                          And I beat, and banged on that sob...

                              This nv4500 would be behind a turbo 5.3L ext cab short bed. To heavy for a t56 and 500-600rw.
