Wanting to do a 5spd swap on a 90 fox. Not doing a speed. But what all 5soeed trannies are an option. Will any year GT 5spd work? I've seen WC T5's , Borg Warbler, t45's, 3550's, tko500...

85-93 trans will work 94-95 fit but you have to use 94-95 bellhousing
        t-45 3650 will not work!

          Borg warbler. That is awesome.

5speed options to a 302 sbf is limited to the bell housing and input shaft.

          Cheapest: t5
          Better: 3550/tko
Best: lenenko, Jericho.. Or a race unit of above transmissions.

Just to clear the air on the "world class t5" fiasco.

Anything after 1985 in a mustang is world class.

Thanks. Tho I hear about the 3550, I never see one for sale. Its just a gt40 head,Tx stage one can, typhoon intake, cold air, 24lb in, and 373's. I doubt I would be in need of a race unit.

A t-5 should serve you just fine. Check out bluementhals in oklahoma city. I purchased one from them couple years ago, was a nice piece, warranty was good, their service was great and price was affordable.

Would a v6 5 speed handle a stock 5.0 motor and what all would I need to change? Just the bellhousing? Wrecked 95 gt auto to a 98 v6 5 speed car. Planning on swapping whole front and rear end but would like to use the 5 speed if I can.
