Crimping deutsch pins?

Is there a cheaper way to crimp them or should I just order the $300 tool? I thought about just soldering all of them but it´s hard to solder anything on the pad site when your not allowed any open flames and there´s no electricity. Im taking about the round solid pins.

I do. I just hate dropping a lot of cash on tools that I´ll use 2-3 times a year.

I use a $30 pair of crimpers for my Deutsch stuff.

yep. same ones that I use. you will have to crimp the wire wings then the strain relief wings.

I use my regular wire crimping pliers from snapon you still have to fold the wings over but that usually isn't a big deal. I sometimes solder mine as well as crimp and little stuff like that I use a small butane powered pencil soldering iron that doesn't have a direct open flame.

I have a similar set from mac tools, I got very familiar with them installing a Fast system.
