  • Need a paint and body guy.

Ok, I am finally ready to do the paint and body work on my 57 cadillac. I took it to a local guy that pulled the majority of the dents out of the top, but then got real shitty with me on the phone and told me to come get the car. I know that it needs to be seen in person, but here are some pics of it as it sits. The rust is all surface rust.

What I need for sure is someone to finish out the body work and maybe do the paint work. I would like to have it done pretty quickly, so if anyone knows someone that can do this work, let me know.

I know Dick's rod shop did Ma67cpe's mustang, and it is nice. Might give him a shout.

THere's a guy over here in our business park that specializes in that kind of stuff.

His name is Jeff, and his place is called "Body and Colors". 682.433.2625

      Specializes in resto stuff.

I don't know about pricing, timeframe etc, but he moves a LOT of cars in and out of there.

Tell him I sent you his way.

Where is this located? I can drive this car a decent distance, or I can trailer it, but I would like to keep it fairly close.

Ouch! House of Hot Rods is reliable also. Just be careful, you don't want a Joe Blow working on that Pink Lady. Good luck man, wish I could work on it.

They in mansfield? If it's the same place, they have done a 57 coupe deville. Yeah, I tried joe blow and this is what happened. The only good thing I can say is that he didn't charge me for the work.

The just had the same problem with my 63 f100. I just went to pick it up from the painter after 6 months of getting nothing done. I am looking for another painter in the rockwall area.

Looking to stay in the 5K range. The guy I went to quoted $2000 to fix the body work and did a lot to straighten out the top. I don't need show quality, but I would like for it to look decent.
