  • Any alternative to using Aeromotive Fuel Pump Controller w/Eliminator Pump

Don't really want to drop $300 for a controller for this $450 pump, might as well just sell the eliminator pump and go with a magnafuel that doesn't require one (or twin bosch 044's).

Anyone been able to get away with running an eliminator pump on the street without vaporlocking it? If not, are there any cheaper fuel pump controllers out there (or a way to make your own pulse generator?)

If no way around using the $300 controller I think I'll just ditch the eliminator, what would be a good replacement pump for 500-600hp e85 turbo motor?

Eliminator is the next pump up the ladder from the basic one? If so, I ran that pump on the street and never had a problem.

Eliminator is one step up from the A1000. I found a guy with the old style pump controller that will take 165 shipped for it. Thinking about pulling the trigger on it.

Just do twin 044s, I hate those controllers, that's why I got rid of my a1000.

            Agreed.

You have the pump, from what I remember - at a minimal investment. Use it and give it a shot..

Keeping the fuel moving is key, adequate lines etc..

My setup was a stock tank, -10 to the pump, -10 out of the pump to a splitter block, -8 to the rails, -6 to regulator and -8 back to the tank. Cartech aluminum pickup in the tank, pump mounted on a Central Florida Motorsports mounting plate that put it on the front side of the tank, just behind the rear end cover (might be important for cooling).

Just remember that the fuel is the coolant for the pump so don't drive around with the gas gauge buried in the red and you'll be fine.
