  • Efi or carb that's the question

I have a 91 coupe with a 306 (was told it was a 331 stroker) it has an edelbrock Vick jr high rise intake and holley 750 double pumper I'm looking at building a 347 stroker or a 408 stroker I want my car to be fast capable of 160 mph possibly but not neccesarily on the strip but over the highway I'm looking at maybe doing some road racing it has a 5 speed trans not sure which one yet
I'm more then likely going to have a supercharger also and I'm already working on the suspension any ideas are greatly appreciated

Sounds like the carb is the least of your worries with those big plans.

Efi is the best option, since you asked.

160mph in a foxbody is a great idea. I hope the suspension mods consist of more then lowering springs.

Why did you buy a fox to use as a "high speed" highway car? Use it as a track car.

I really feel like you haven't spent enough time thinking about what you're asking.

                          Tx2k13 is in Houston.

Yes there are people who race fast foxes. Guy on the board says he went 200+.

I'd say anything over 140 isn't really needed. I chill out at around 130, and that's rare.

Tired of running into walls but wants to go 160 mph. Naturally, the solution isn't to make the car go straight; it's to put it on the highway where there aren't as many walls.
