I've got a Painless Wiring 12 Circuit Universal Wiring Harness in my coupe (no factory wiring), and am going to pull a trailer with it. I am wondering if I need to buy a powered trailer light module or if I can just buy a splice in setup.
Trailer only has 4 lights on it (2 brake lights and 2 side indicators). I'm fairly sure the Painless setup can handle it but figured I'd ask. I had to get a powered setup for my BMW as the factory wiring was too small (not to mention the electronics would spaz out with the extra load).
