  • My junk

After bad 02's, cracked Ls intake, bad fuel pump, trans going out; and me having to fork out for a rebuilt trans, I drove the car Daily for a month before I found a large amount of milky stuff in the oil cap in my ls1 formula

At this point i have too many new parts in this car, and don't have the space to part it out and plan to pull the heads and replace the gaskets.

I have searched and haven't found a direct answer, is the bottom end going to need a rebuild from having the coolant mix with the oil? I drove the car home and popped the hood after smelling something funny and immediately shut it off. The motor never over heated, never knocked or pinged, but I know it has coolant in the oil.

The green one is the subject in question

Coolant in the oil will obviously reduce the lubricating properties of the oil. Bearings would be my biggest concern here. I would recommend a teardown and rebuild. Especially how easy the LS motors are to work on
