Ok so Im trying to hook up my parking brake, and this handle is pissing me off. Its a fox mustang handle. Its like it has come un sprung or something, the locking pawl doesn't catch anything, you can pull on it and it just goes right back.

I've been jacking with this for two days now, its fixing to find itself sliding across the driveway! When I position the teeth where the latch catches them the spring hook is 180 out from its perch, and pressing the wrong direction.
