Looking at buying a cre cab truck soon and have been looking at the Titan say 05 and up. Will be using the truck to haul trailer with wheelers, cars, ect. Any insight on the Titans towing ability and issues would be helpful.

I've pulled plenty with the one I had, now maybe maxing out around 4500 pounds though. None of it was a problem per se.
-Shit gas mileage with or without a trailer on the back
-There is a known rear end problem - specifically in some years if I remember. I think there was some problems with the 05s as well. 07 and above supposedly not too bad.
I did like that Nissan gave the option of as bare bones of a truck that you wanted up to some fancy features. The other problems I had with my truck are due to me finding out that Nissan of Mckinney sold me one (used) that had been wrecked. Once finding that out, front pass bearings and other problems I had did make sense.
So, I don't recommend buying from Nissan of Mckinney either. I was in a BIG rush and that one time I did not do my due diligence and BAM. But fuck them anyway.
Long story short, to this day if I'm in the truck market I'd buy a F-150, Titan or Tundra. One thing nice that Titans have, is their tailgates come down slowly. Which is nice when your in a rush or hands are full.Originally posted by MR EDDU defend him who use's racial slurs like hes drinking water.

I have an '05 Titan crew cab with 137k on it. I've owned it since new and it's been a great truck. When I first got it there was a tsb on front brake vibration, which they fixed with new pads and rotors and I'm still on that set. There was also a tsb on the fuel pump sending unit causing fuel gauge fluctuation. Mine didn't do it until 95k or so and it was fixed under warranty.
The power steering pressure hose started leaking at 100k, so I replaced it and all the other p/s hoses. I've run Amsoil in it since day one and change it every 7500 miles. I've replaced the battery once and my 100k consisted of plugs, a belt, a tensioner, thermostat, hoses, and a coolant change. None of it failed, just preventative maintenance. Changed the diff and trans fluid every 50k. The positive battery terminal is kind of a hokey design, but whose aren't these days? I've replaced mine twice, the second time only as p/m.
I don't tow anything, but if I had to on a daily basis, a 1/2 ton pickup wouldn't be my first choice and I don't think the rear end on the Titan would hold up to daily towing.
That being said, I love my truck and if I had to, I would buy it again. I drive a good bit and it's one of the most comfortable vehicles I've ever owned.
