  • oil pump to block gasket

I'm in need of the gasket between the oil pump and the block.
Does anybody know if it is available alone, or do I need to buy some gasket material and make my own?

I might have one at the shop.

I've done that on everything I've ever driven.
I don't currently have a roll of material, so making one may be more expensive than buying one.

Manila folder as in an office file folder. Odds are you have one around the house. Won't even cost you gas money to drive to pick a gasket up that you may not find all that easy anyhow. I went through this last year when I had to drop my oil pump in a pinch. Folder was too easy.

For the record, I have used manila folders to bolt down BIG detroit blowers on diesels too.

Lol. The best southern engineerd gasket Iv done is to make valve cover gasket out of an olf mudflap I found on the road. That gasket didnt leak in 80,000 miles.
