  • hypothetical HP/TQ number

    4.6l 2v PI motor stroked to 5.0
    9:1 compression
    Crower stage 2 cams INT/EXH - Dur @ .050” Lift: 208°/212° RR: 1.8/1.8 Gross Lift: .559”/.570” LSA: 114° RPM: 1250 to 6000 Redline: 6500

that's it. It's a low budget build with a possibility of a turbo later, so I'm really not expecting too much over stock

I already know it won't be fast.... at all, just curious of guesses on HP/TQ

Alright I'm hoping that we can get enough people to submit there setups so then we can help eliminate the weekly questions of how much boost on X combo. Hopefully this will help out alot of people with new combo's etc and hopefully make it a sticky. So here's what you need to post Year of Car...

This will give you a general idea. Several 2v and 4v combos with and w/o power adders.

I was serious, I missed the 9:1 compression. I agree with 00KBgt, and you should hear his car with the stroker motor!!

                  Should be closer to 300rw...

little cams, wide lsa, and low compression, and a damn low 'rev limit for a ohv motor.. it wont hit "much over 300" if it gets there.. i still wonder why people would rather go through all this trouble, rather than swap a 4.8/5.3 GM truck motor and make more power with waaaayyy more capability?!

                    <--baffled

dont tell SuperSuperStupidRetardRetard that im talking about cars again! he'll have to come tell me i dont even know how to turn one on!

For me it was time. I considered it, but it's my daily and the potential for problems during the swap kept me from doing it. I also wouldn't just drop in a high mileage LSx motor anyway. So either way I'd be spending money to rebuild. This way I have forged internals ready to go.

You wont see 300 to the wheels without full bolt ons + LT headers, the stroker does very little for the mod motor. I say around 278RWP/300RWTQ

I was assuming if it was a stroker he had the normal bolt on's.

My old 2v had bolt ons mid length headers and vt stage 2 cams and dynod 310/310.

That sucker you had was strong for a 2V. Most people never get over that 300 hump. My numbers apply to what he posted and what I assume to be an OR pipe and mufflers.
