Very sorry to hear about your bad luck with your truck. It does seem that it was used/abused for a period of time, and maybe not fixed or tuned correctly. Hard to say at this point. These engines had issues, which were highlighted if it was abused or not maintained correctly.

Might look on a couple of the power stroke forums, I've seen a few sets of injectors pop up time to time, pretty cheap.

Wish this had gone a different way for you, aside from the mpg, or lack thereof, I love my '06 with the 6.0. I've had no issues yet, unless you call reprogramming the FICM an issue. Had tha atlas 40 program put on it, hoping to up the mpg a bit. Good luck with your next ride!

08 Job 2 F250 CCSB Lariat. only option it doesn't have is the chrome package, but I've got another chrome edition grill and I'm going to do what I can within rea$on to get some chrome package mirrors on it. It was special ordered with manual transfer case. I've only ever personally seen one lariat w/ manual transfer and it had the center jump seat. This truck has the center console. didn't even know you could spec one like that

It's got a blown motor, but I've got a motor for it. Hope to have the cab off of it in the next few days and have it going together next week

I wonder how many problems are related to this shitty diesel we get these days. I know the the transmission is not related, that may be on the tune. Or just a shitty Ford trans. Although I have had good luck with them once everything has been updated.
