  • 94 mustang won't start

Got new combo installed in car tfs1 cam, aluminum heads, 70 mm tb, 24# injectors andv90 mm maf. The guy who worked on it before couldn't get it going. I picked it up and its loaded on my trailer. Can anyone help get this finished. Email me at fern8099@yahoo.com with suggestions, ideas or references to anyone or anything!

It could be a bunch of things, since it had H/C/I installed on it the problem most likely is timing.

Pull the timing cover and make for sure the cam is in time.

Maybe they did it wrong, had piston valve clearance issues, went ahead and fucked it up and unloaded it on you.

Verify cam and ignition timing, also try with stock maf ad injectors.

Yes it turns over. It turned on before but was backfiring and couldn't get timing down. Switched injectors and it would not start afterwards.

Ignition timing is off, find TDC re stab the distributor with the rotor pointing to where cyl 1 is on the cap.

If its still wrong after that, check the cam timing!
