It took Ford 10 days to get the new intercooler for my 2012 F150 Screw 4x4.
The condensation issue seems to gone away. Truck seems to drive better and feels like it has more power.
The best fuel mileage Ive gotten so far has been 24.3 mpg at 60mph with a tail wind.
On average I get 17-18 Mixed City/Highway.
If I drive 65mph with the cruise on I typically get 19-21 depending on the wind. I seem to lose 1.5 mpg per every 10mph I go over 65.
Now the last time I towed my 8000 pound travel trailer I got a whopping 7mpg fighting a 20-30mph head wind. Normally I get 9-10 when pulling it (at 60mph).Comment

I remember when we all had the big discussion over 100k miles Ford testing and real world longevity. I am really hoping this design works it self out long term. I almost bought one but then reflected back on Fords other great designs that have lasted a few years and then been replaced. Same way the new Jeeps are having problems left and right. Hell the gas mileage is not even that great for how much they cost and all the hype.Whos your Daddy?

Do you guys think any of these problems are Ethanol related? I have heard that this gas is really horrible on all aspects of the motor. Just a thought.Comment
