            Nut swinger?

Like you I often wonder why people don't use the search function especially on a very basic question. I don't however recall having any nut swingers.

LOL, Ed is more like a brother we go way back. I have done a ton of work for Ed, for him and some of the cars he works on. Ed even knows Trick Shift Mike been to his shop and house several times. I have talked to him over the phone a few years back but personally don't know him. From what Ed has told me he is a pretty good guy. Hey if your on my side of town give me a call or shoot me a PM. There are several on this board that can vouch for my work but as you say I prob. don't have as many nut-swingers on this board as Mike does. O' well. Life goes on.

I don't know about all of that stuff, just pointing out who he was probably calling a nut swinger.

No ones jumping on woods. Seems like his nuts swinger gets mad when anyone posts about Mikes Trick shift. Mikes done afew Trans for me and I know a ton of guys that's use him.

Next time I need something I'll try woods racing transmission. See how good he is

It's a running joke on Mikes Trick Shift postings.
I don't think there is a direct attack on anyone here (woods or mike)

Mikes' built two transmissions for me a 4r70w that I've beat the snot out of and never had a problem and a C4 for my other car I've yet to try it.
But have no doubt its top notch as well. And he does stand behind his work.

c-4's are relatively simple, but mixing parts from other transmissions can sure get a home builder in trouble. I found a shop in Kennadale with a tranny dyno, they test every build and it's included in the price. It really eliminates a lot of the guess work on if it's going to work right or not.
