    Need a transmission shop asap...

    A friend of mine is in from out of town, he is in an 01 S-10, and when he got off the highway last night his transmission started making a whining noise. Now, it skips second gear and goes straight from first to third, will not go into overdrive, and will not go into reverse. He has to go home tomorrow. Any suggestions?

      To be honest probably best start calling wrecking yards if he has to head back tomorrow.

        Either that or call around and see if you can find a Trans for an S-10 and do a quick swap.

          Yup, they probably won't get a rebuild done that fast. Call pick n pull and get ready for a fun emergency transmission swap
