Buying used gears? Yay or Nay?

Set of Ford 3.55's for an 8.8 with a new pinion bearing for $60. Says they are in "great" shape, but honestly, I wouldn't know either way since I've never messed with them personally.

Any issues with buying used gears or should I stick with new only?

not worth the time to find out if they are junk. buy a new set IMO
