Holley systemax, vacuum.. Interference w/ fuel rail.

Ok. So after all the other minor set backs, I'm now to one I'm not sure how to fix.

There is a straight vacuum fitting right at the bottom of the intake:


And it will not allow the intake to set onto the lower. Almost 1/2 inch


There are only a few vacuum ports on the upper intake, the one one the bottom for pcv Valve??? And 2 more right behind the throttle body, which I assume is for the fuel regulator and brake booster.

But I'm not sure if that's a good place for vacuum or not.

Any help needed it's literally my only set back..

Could I use washers and longer bolts to extend the fuel rail outwards? Or will that mess with the injectors?

Also what about the vacuum?

Not sure if I'm looking at right but would an intake spacer fix the issue? You would spend money sny way on new bolts and washers and instead could buy a used spacer and it be done right

That would require a cowl hood.

People have ran these, there has to be a way

Maybe get a fitting that does a 90? That probably wouldn't work. Maybe plug it and run a T off one of the other ports?

From doing some googling, it looks like the big port on the back is for the booster, there should be a plug on the bottom and the pcv uses the big port on the front, which has a plug in it now.

So, off to the parts store I go tomorrow.

Use a 90* male/female brass adapter or plug it and split your vacuum form another port.

I would cap it and use any other vacuum port,
Spacer would be ideal but would require cowl hood. G/L
