Seat sliders: what's the best way to do this?

Bought a track car this weekend that has a Kirkey driver's seat without sliders. The seat mounts directly to the cage so the stock seat sliders would not be effective. It's a multi-team racing event that this car will be entered into: the previous team were all almost the same height so the seat was welded in. My team will have all variations of height from 5'6" to 6'4".

Can this seat be converted to work with a slider setup, or would it be better to just buy a seat with sliders?

I could get them today after work. basically there's some 1" bar stock welded to the front of the seat bottom which mounts to the cage in addition to 2 carriage bolts thru the rear of the back of the seat. The cage has bar stock on it that the seat mounts to.

I've got that first setup for the most part. The mounted rails went to the cage (welded) and the seat bolted to that (welded to brackets with no sliders). Is that similar to what you're doing in the 'Mont?
