Mike I think what they are hinting at is......"Hey guys I've decided to sell the nitrous kit and put that money towards a fresh shortblock". In other words if you can't afford to replace it today, then dont put nitrous on it. If its truely your daily driver then treat it as so until you can afford another car. Refills cost between $25-$50, head gaskets cost $50-$100 to replace each time. It all adds up. Why not sell the nitrous, keep it NA, donate $40 per week that you would spend on the nitrous to a "build a stroker fund?" Then when it blows you just order up $2500 in parts and its not putting you on top Ramen for a month.

forgive me for not reading the complete thread, what headgasket are you putting back on. those stock graphites you had on there worked great. their all I use, just wondering. If it's the first time apart, replace those tty headbolts with arp's.Don't worry about what you can't change.
Do the best you can with what you have.

I'm going back with 9333pt1 like the board suggested, and I'm using new arp head bolts. I'm also using the same plug that diabolic uses, yet I never listen to the board...
It was my fault and i was incorrect in thinking the headgasket failed. I was wrong, and jumped to conclusions and mistakes my water pump flowing water for "exhaust bubbles". And since when do you repalace a short block for a little carbon build up on the pistons? Got to be serious... Still has the crosshatches clearly visible, which is impressive to me.
Its all cleaned and it's fine, if you guys think it will blow then fine, I guess we will all see that it will be okay. And if it does, I obviously have the means of transportation to get things squared away!
I appreciate all your concerns and abusive warnings. I take everything I read here Into consideration. But some of the things y'all come up with, I wonder where you come up with it.. Lol
Oh and I got a steal on the entire n2o kit with accessories. And money isn't tight, I'm just on a budget.

Either way, telling me I'm going go blow it with a mild h/c/I at best with a small wet shot, with a plate soon... Is kind of surreal.
