  • Somebody school me on 2V balance

I replaced the motor in my wifes 00 GT. It came with a Windsor, I went with a Romeo. Motor came from a 00 Expedition. Ever since I started it, it has had a vibration. I have asked this question before and many helped. I took it apart today to find that the flywheel I put on it seems to be wrong. I got the flywheel and clutch from a 2001 Mustang (new). The flywheel seems to weigh more than the Windsor one. The Romeo one seems to have a counter weight and thicker than the Windsor. I have swapped balancers between the Windsor and the Romeo and made no difference. Its obivious I have the wrong flywheel balancer combo. I need help to figure out what I need. Thanks guys!

Or a clutch issue. Like DOWEL PINS or even improper torque sequence can cause a vibration. To my knowledge all of the modulars are the same balance, hence the term modular.

the flywheel on the windsor should be a 8 bolt and the romeo is a 6 bolt

All the modulars are zero balance, there shouldn't be any weights on the flywheel. Only 4 flywheels for all the modular motors, 2 size clutches and 2 bolt patterns.
