Mike I'm not gonna hate on ya, but I do have to ask.......Why would you only look at the plugs one time? It's cheap to pull and replace a plug. Keep like 4 spares with you all the time. If you want to run it then pull # 8 and replace ti with a new one right before and right after a run. Hell, do it 20 times until the mark on the strap is in the right place, the fuel ring looks good, and you see no specs on the porcelain. I run nitrous and 15+ pounds of boost. I'll tell you that I have pulled and read and replaced my #7 plug at least 20 times over the last year. It just makes sense. If you want to daily drive your toy then tune it for 85% max. pull an extra degree or 2 of timing just inn case that gas you get at the pump is less than optimal, run that wot afr in the high 11's. No it isn't optimal, but it's a daily driver. It needs to error on the side of safe.
