Just an FYI....

The engine will need to be running for the entire installation.
It took mine about 15 minutes and you can drive while it is doing the install.
You will have to re-sync all devices once complete.

There is a point in which it tells you installation complete but it is not really complete. It has to say that a 2nd time. Print out the step by step instructions and it will make more sense.

On ours we just hit the voice command and say "bluetooth audio" and it plays. The manual for the 2011 states that you must have the music playing on phone first but that is not true...atleast after the update.

Try updating and see if that works.

I rarely talk on the phone when I'm driving, so I don't use any of that crap anyway. The Sync is nice to use voice commands for playing random songs off a USB stick. That's all I've really used mine for so far.

Everyone who has spoken to me while I am driving tells me it sounds like I am underwater. I think the mic location could have been put a little bit further up to the windsheild so I dont have to 'lean back' in order for the person to understand what I am saying.

^^ sounds like the noise cancellation function isn't working properly. I'd be curious to know if you spoke louder how it would work. not familiar with their technology, but i'm guessing they just sample background noise and flip it 180* out of phase and reinsert it... if you're not loud enough it will have a hard time determining what is noise and what is voice. worth a shot at least.

Yeah, I basically have to yell or talk while starring at the ceiling of the car...lol which defeats the purpose of responsible driving while talking...I just dont answer the phone anymore while I am in the car.

It tells me I can't play "uncatalogued music" but then it will play them from an iPod no problem. Oh well, car will be traded in soon anyway.
