"Laws that forbid the carrying of arms...disarm only those who are neither inclined nor determined to commit crimes...Such laws make things worse for the assaulted and better for the assailants; they serve rather to encourage than to prevent homicides, for an unarmed man may be attacked with greater confidence than an armed man." - Thomas Jefferson, 1776

it likely bent the pushrods because the valves touched the pistons when the springs floated. It's always is really bad on the valves.
Don't worry about what you can't change.
Do the best you can with what you have.
Be honest, even if it hurts.
"Socialism is a philosophy of failure, the creed of ignorance, and the gospel of envy; Its inherent virtue is the equal sharing of misery" ... Winston Churchill
It sounds like you better be grateful someone invented the rev limiter.
"When the people find that they can vote themselves money, that will herald the end of the republic." -Benjamin Franklin "A democracy will continue to exist up until the time that voters discover that they can vote themselves generous gifts from the public treasury." -Alexander Fraser Tytler
Just an FYI... from what I hear any aftermarket shifter will void transmission warranty so if you take it in for transmission problems make sure to put the stock one back on.
My experience with the stock shifter in my 2013 5.0 is great...especially for high rpm shifts. Never had a problem finding a gear. It does feel sloppy when granny shifting though. I will probably get the barton bracket and leave the shifter alone.
Was it your rev limiter or traction control that killed power?
It cracks me up how many people are dissatisfied with driving their Mustang and act like it's the car's fault. It's definitely not just you, soap. Go to allfordmustangs.com to see some real whiners.

I hate this six speed BS. I want to get a junk five speed from a bone yard. Will be better then this shit.
Seriously.... why do you think this? I love this transmission and feel like it is the fastest smoothest manual gear box I have ever driven. I can shift this thing faster then I could my old toploader that had an inline shifter. The stock shift hits the right gate everytime.
Now I do plan on doing the clutch pedal mod to make it a tad stiffer.
