Still having issues with this, I spent the whole day trying to figure this shit out and it kicked my ass for nothing. I replaced the angel eyes and they work fine then I replaced the ballast and control module along with a new bulbs and the fucking low beam still doesnt work. The last thing to do was to take it to a shop and have the new stuff recoded and it still didnt work. I dont know WTF to do any more, the only thing I did see was that I may have to check the fuses where I should have started. Does anybody know what fuses may control the headlights? Ive tried googling but there isnt shit out there for this car. It took me 15 minutes to find the second fuse box. Do you have any other suggestions BAD ASS COUPE? This shit is kicking my ass.

Is there a way to check the control module while not installed in the car?

yes, install the control module, ill have a buddy encode it for free, if your bmw has over 100k or over 7 years old replace all three, no sense in not, its like coils, one goes out and the others follow... bmw dealers had a problem with rechecks so now they quote all three. bring it to my shop i can look at it, wont charge you anything... pm me
