Pull the fuse. I have a 2011 Super Duty and it did the same thing to me. Left for a month and everything was good. Come home, plug in my ipod and shit didnt work. Pulled the fuse, counted to like 10, put the fuse back and and all good.

Pulling the fuse won't effect EVERYTHING like pulling the battery cable will.

The SYNC gets unsynced from my iPhone about once every couple of months. It resyncs on it's own in a day or so. I find SYNC annoying & rarely use it. Last thing I need is to have a wreck while arguing with "SYNC".
