If he happend to have everything needed on hand it wouldnt take that long.

I prefer building on the engine stand. I dont feel as rushed and it makes my back feel better.

If you cant get it done in a weekend, rent a car for a couple days.

There's dynos of them over 400 and even in your head you're going to argue over 5hp?

Heads and intake (and your other little things) can be done in a full day, and over the weekend working at a snails pace. That's a good bit of work and money to replace stock for stock when there is nothing wrong with it on the first place.

There are stock Coyote's putting down 375-385 RWHP. CAI and Tune gets them well over 400...

Mine made 390rw with the original engine; it ran 111.5 in the quarter.

The engine was replaced and now it runs 114.5 in the quarter, still untuned.

If your tuned, intake 5.0 DOESN'T make 400 there is something wrong.

Who cares, the point is he will have a car that makes SIMILAR power, weighs less, and costs at least $25,000 or so less more like $30k. To each his own. I do love the way the new ones look though. I say keep the original block, while you are blowing it apart , build a nice setup.
