94-95 Cam Install

I pulled the Intake off to port my stock intake cause im low on funds. Was thinking about tossing a B-Cam in it. But do I have to drain the AC System to install a cam in my 95?

If I do, Then I will just port my intake & be done, BUt if I can install a cam without disconnecting my AC & losing all my freon then im game!

Also I dont want to remove the heads

I don't think you should have too, and I spoke with a few guys here on the board about swapping one in for me. None of them mentioned any of that.

You shouldn't have to bust open the AC system, and who the hell removes the heads for a cam install?

So if I remove the radiator it will give me enough room to slide the cam in?

you can pull the compressor off its bracket and lay it to the side without disconecting the lines. I've never pulled a cam in the engine bay, Ive always pulled the engine when Ive done a cam swap, so I cant tell you if there will be enough room to leave the condenser in place.

not necessary, but swapping springs which can obviously be done on the car is.

i know, but seeing as alot of guys are starting to change lifters with cams due to mileage, and you have to pull heads to change lifters. that was a weak attempt at a joke.

You might have surging issues if not tuned. I heared steeda #19 cam won't cause issues but all cars are different.

You can seb. Just unbolt and move the condenser to the side. I did it on my vert.

putting a cam like that in a 94,5 car will cause idle and surging issues if not tuned.

i have the TFS Stage 1 cam in mine.

and baron is soooo incredibly correct.

Can the cam be slid in with the condenser in place with just the Radiator out?

Also if the 94-95 computer is that senstive what cam will it work with on stock pushrods?

Im having to order 6.2 pushrods for my TFS 2 cam on my coupe. Im hoping to run the B-303 with stock pushrods on my 95
