1992 Mustang CEL advice needed

    1992 Mustang CEL advice needed

    Started getting an intermittant CEL on the mustang. No logic to when it comes on, it just comes on for a few seconds, then off again. I haven't gotten my code reader out yet, I dont know if it even reads OBD I.

    Question is, does OBD I even store a code? Or does the CEL have to stay on to be able to read codes?


    Car has flows, no other mods. It even passed inspection at the begining of the month, LEGALLY.

    Car runs fine, but exhaust stinks something fierce.

            Im used to CEL lights in these old mustangs. I just thought it was standard

                      We do a lot of work for this shitty little car lot, I've shorted many cel bulbs out b/c he's a cheapskate and won't correct the problem. So whenever y'all buy cars koeo the cel light should illuminate. If it does not, run from it.
