P0900 code on 1997 1500 suburban

on vacation in MO. and our Burban started running bad. Like really bad gas/ no timing. It throws the p0900 multi miss fire. just wondering if anyone else had this problem. Will have to take it to a shop up here no tools ect.

greg, those years had issues with distributors and spider injectors. on a multiple, id look at distributor and wires first. they do have a ckp in the front cover as well, naybe inspect the harness...just some suggestions

also, are you sure thats the right dtc? 0900 shows to be a clutch actuator code

Could be as simple as cap and rotor

Could be the injector/ poppet nozzles, the fuel pressure regulator could be leaking bad and flooding out the inside of the intake. Or it could be the cap and rotor like others have said.

thanks. . it went on a flat bed to Chevy dealer. Had the heater vacuum valve bust on lost coolant. no place up here to get parts or borrow tools.

truck will be ready in morning. I was cap rotor and modual $375. The heater control valve hoses and coolant flush $175
