Anyone fix up a 95 Bronco Eddie Bauer with auto and 5.8?

I need a ranch vehicle. I see some are running 33's.

Is 95 OBDI or OBDII, speed density or MAF?

    Thanks!

What Jason said.. 96 is the only year with OBDII. Some say 33's will fit stock with some bumper trimming, others say no. Probably depends on the condition of the stock springs but you should be able to make it work with a leveling kit.

Took me less than a minute to search there and see that 95's were obd1 and speed density unless it was CA spec. The rest were MAF in 96 only.

There is a ton of info there and you don't have to wait 30 seconds between searches like here. Traffic may not be as frequent as here but you have thousands of bronco owners there rather than a few here.

I looked at the 2011 FRPP catalog and didn't see the MAF conversion discussed on FSB.

I looked at the Bronco, during a quick lunch, and it looks like it has a Pro M MAF on it and it is a 95. I guess I don't remember what speed density looks like.

280hp/380tq/20mpg would be nice. But I think 14-15mpg is typical stock and 210hp.

E40D tranny any good? One guy mentioned going through 4 of these on a high mileage FSB.

What's a good 4in lift kit? I like complete kits with springs not blocks and nicer shocks like Bilstein.

Seams are falling apart on the leather. Can it be stretched and re-stitched? Any weak areas to look for when buying used?

How to modify speedo for tire/gear changes, same as a stang?

                  Much Thanks!

My 95 F150 5.8 was mass air. If you are curious because you want to mod it, don't bother with an aftermarket cam unless you have serious gears and stall. I used four different cams in my e4te gt40 setup and the best for low end power was stock, although I stuck with a factory 5.0ho cam in the end.

33/12.5 tires are a good fit with leveling springs or daystar spacers and the bumper trimmed.
I used both with an add a leaf and blocks in the rear for a level 4" lift.

Yeah, I've always heard that, but I owned two 95's (title and build date) that were mass air.

They were probably CA trucks.. Or at least spec'd for CA. They got Mass Air in 95.

16mpg was my best with overdrive, 31's, and stock. Adding hp and tire size will only lower that number. It will never get 20mpg without a 5.3ls swap. 280hp is easy, The intake and heads are the big limiters on power, swapping to a mustang style intake is the best bet.

                            I went through two e4od's before I swapped in a C6.

There are plenty of kits that give you full spring setups with pricey shocks if you have the cash, call 4wheelparts.

The speedo is read off the rear speed sensor, http://www.ford-trucks.com/article/i...ND_BRONCO.html

I never looked up the dso, but one was an f150 4x4 that was used as a paint truck in north texas and the other was an f250 4x4 that I bought off a golf course in TX, where it had lived its whole life. I was always curious, because I had heard '96 was the first year.
