My dad and I have used Raymond Grice (Grice Machine) up in Durant, OK for the last 20 years. He built the 383 that's in my dad's '32 coupe, among other engines. He's very reasonable on the price and does really good work. He's a one man shop, so there's no worry about someone other than him working on our stuff.

I've been using Morgan and Sons and they seem to do great work. I found them by searching this site if anyone really cares.

Another vote for Morgan and Son.

There's a reason you see his name on all the fast stuff.

Hans Feustal in west Fort Worth.
The short blocks I've received from him did very well at a time when other DFW local machine
shop LSx motors had a life span of less than a month.

Last mention I heard of Hans, was that he was looking to farm out LSx work, so I don't know
if he's doing these motor anymore.

I like Hans, he is a damn straight shooter - no bs from him, but he is higher than most on prices. My machine work alone was 1600$. This was an ENTIRE engine, and he is a HUGE perfectionist - not what I expected pricewise, but I didn't ask the right questions- so my bad.

I can't even fathom that kind of racing budget.

That said, another vote for Morgan. I've seen nothing but good things from their shop.

If your in Princeton it's a no brainer. They aren't far from 78 and 205. Trevor Johnson is at the same shop doing the heads and Watt does the blocks.
