    It's not a ground issue.

    The problem is the ignition switch. It happens to every Fox body car. You can try to troubleshoot it all you want, but this your problem.

    Anytime you get weird electrical problems when physically moving something attached to the steering column, this is the issue. You'll find the plastic part is separating from the aluminum part.

    When the government pays, the government controls.

          My money is here as well...I did AC/Electrical in a dealership when these things were new, and I wouldn't be exaggerating to say 80% of the time issues like this were caused by those crappy ignition switches. FYI - I saw a lot of fires caused by them as well, so don't fuck around if you aren't sure how old that switch is.

            do the ignition switch first mike. I chased down everything else first and spent $500 doing that... it was this damn $10 part the whole time
