Used to be a site dedicated to the 429/460 swap into the fox chassis. Aside from the valve cover to booster clearance, hood clearance can be solved with k member spacers. You are talking about a fox mustang, they didn't exactly handle like a Ferrari from the factory and not everyone is all that interested in turning and stopping on a dime.

Remind me at what power level a factory 302 says fuck you im out? 600? 351, 750 give or take? An aftermarket block less machining costs what? Not everyone can or wants to dump a grand plus, plus machining into an A4/R302/boss/dart block or go GM.

You can find FMS blocks around a grand and the price increases from there, hence the "grand plus".
