  • Fuel cutoff switch

What is the actual name of that cutoff switch at the back of the foxes behind the tail lights? The button broke off mine and I think thats why the pump isn't kicking in.

Test it, pull the plug and put a jumper in. If the pump works, you need a new switch.

Nearly every Ford uses that same switch up till at least the 2000's that I know of. Salvage yard is your answer for a correct fix. Or you can tape the button down and go.

The button broke off. I am going to probably try Barons trick first.

I just know i can't hear the fuel pump start and that button on the switch is broke.

            hopefully 1+1= a running car
