  • Stock 302 ho. 300shot. Who has done it?

    In a debate.

I read on here a guy ran 300shot of juice on a 100% stock 302ho, and it lasted a good while..

It was in a race car of sorts..

Who was that? And what did it run?

    And.... Go!

If it has a bunch of miles on it you will have some major blow by issues.

I'm not saying I'm going to do this. That would twist my t5 into a pretzel.

I read a guy on here that did it, and they lasted a full season before blowing.

Found it cool. And now I have a nonbeliever.

MM&FF did a test on a 2.3 where they kept pumping higher and higher amounts into the engine. I think it was around ~250 when the engine finally blew, the AOD was slipping long before that.

It was me, what do you want to know?

Fastest time was a 6.45 but it also had a cam, full exhaust, full intake system, stock forged pistons, stock heads.

                    Stock short block?

How'd have it come on? Stages? All at once?

I sprayed a 220 dry shot about four or five times on my stock 5.0. I had the right plugs and timing in it and it never missed a beat.

I worked on a guys car back in the 90's that was running a 150 and a 250 with a progressive controller. It wasn't blow uppy but it did need rings somewhat frequently.
