  • Nitrous plugs and nitrous AFR?

So I got an innovate lc1 and I should have a 125 shot on the car In a few weeks.

What plug should I run? And what AFR should I aim for? 11.5:1 or closer to 12:1?

Something like a TR6 with a short fat ground works good close them up to .032. 12:1 is a good number for the A/f

I run the NGK with a non projected tip 2 heat ranges colder than stock. I would make a couple passes at the track and see what AFR she likes. Pick a plug like #7 and read it after a pass. Take a good illuminated magnifying glass.

Not sound stupid, but what do you mean by non projected tip?

I noticed the tr6ix is iridium, any reason why I would run those?, instead of tr6 (4177s) which are copper.

                    Both projected tip as well.

Are non projected the plugs that don't have ground straps?

Ill get you the part number later today. I'm not at home. I run a .32 gap with a 100 shot and 15 pounds of boost. The non projected tip has a strap just like a stock plug but nothing protrudes past the threaded portion of the plug. This is the best type of plug for your application IMHO.

Actually I wasn't aware of that, personally I wouldn't use them I was just going off of my notes in my phone I made for when I'm out of state racing and have a hard time finding what I'm looking for. The NGK TR6 is a projected tip but I ran them for years on a 100 shot on the street. I run the 8's all the time now FWIW.

                            Awesome man thanks.

This will be on the stock heads, I'll still use the kit with the Brodix, which require gasket plugs. I'll take the time to index those. Should I index the ones going into the stock heads? I know the gain is minimal.

Where locally can I get indexing washers?
