I can see this happening. Seen it when I was getting my 2002 built by MPH in GA. Had people do this to them all the time...

                  • The main question should be if you believe TS was truly at fault why didn't you take them up on there offer to take it apart and if they were at fault they would fix it?

i am all open for a discussion, base on meeting you, your knowledge is extremely limited when it comes to cars. guessing this and betting that is not constructive. i am sure you had a good experience with them and i am positive so many others have. i am not screaming to the high heaven they are the worst shop in the history of cars. just they made a mistake and it should be resolved. everybody makes mistakes bro

lets be clear on this. the vibration did not come into play several months later. it was about 3 weeks time and if you can recall i had a bad battery that needed replacing that prevented me from driving it for the majority of this time. it came into play the 3rd time i drove it if it helps, i can post my bank statement right now of when i paid you guys(picked it up a few days later i believe) and i can post the receipt where i had to buy the fan, belt, tension and fix my car because this is when the vibration set it and chunked the fan
No I do not remember anything about a battery as I do not work in the office dealing with customers calling. I do remember you bringing it back because the alt was not charging, and we fixed that at no charge to you. Am i right?

^ this, the bracket in question is the power steering bracket that was still attached to the pump with the pulley in place. Anyone that has worked on a ford knows that the pulley is pressed on. We informed the customer that there would be a minor extra charger for having to remove this bracket and get it coated, the result was what Clint stated. Lets cut costs where we can, as the customer is out of money. He wanted a "show car" look under hood but wanted it for 5 bucks. (minor exaggeration there) we did the best we could to make it presentable underhood with the budget we were given.

                          • I like Reefer Ray's comments in that first thread. No fuckin' way I'm touching someone elses' project without starting over from the beginning. In this case, I would've charged the customer to have the rotating assembly and block checked out before I ever threaded one bolt/nut on it. Some things are only learned the hard way, and both parties in this instance are learning this. It's how they handle the fallout that really counts if they have any reputation to uphold.

With that said, the mere thought of driving a 351 fox daily is insane unless you have intamate knowledge of what's going on under your hood, or a bottomless bank account.

i think so, i was some pics of them wrapped in plastic as if they were shipped and some "feel powder coated". i wasnt going to intentional try to mess one up to find out.

Then why go this far and not let us try and make it right? We simply were not given a chance.. IMO
