Again my concern is if True Street is a true worthy shop. It seems like there is a lack of trust worthy straight forward shops in DFW let alone the US.

All that being said he is absolutely correct in that you can't give away labor just to do someone a favor. You would never stay in business nor be able to afford that fancy dyno or other shop tools that is required to even be in business.

I've never seen a brand new flywheel with the dowl pins installed. I've always had to install them. So who ever installed the flywheel with out the dowl pins should have known better. For one thing it would be a pain in the ass to install a clutch with out the pins in place.

this. this thread went about as expected. i rather not sue someone. ive never done it and have had to look it up to see how. its really a shame. at the very least, you are going to have one side saying one thing, and another saying the other. you will also have some third party guys see it one way and the other guys see the other.
i just find it hilarious that with everything that i have posted and not even including what i hadnt bothered to post such as the receipts etc etc, that clint or anybody for that matter, could think that this was a 6 month scheme where i went out and bought parts, and made posts, and went to shops, and had work done, and still came on here knowing some of the backlash i would get.
its pretty simple he blamed another shop for it being the shortblock so he refused to help
and it was not the shortblock, it was his install.

at the very least members can see both sides and make their own decision vs just trusting a shop because they are a paid advertiser. i bet they get the dowel pins in from here on out
