The car came in boxes...... No bolts, missing parts, ect how was I to know there was a problem with the car is pieces when it showed up?

We preformed everything we charged for. Car came back a month later with a vibration....

That's not chump change dude, that's 5500 bucks for work that appears to have not been done.

And why the fuck hasn't anyone spoken up on the paint/powder coat issue? Thats alone (if true) speaks volumes about the shop.

And the shitty part of all this? A few hours labor on the chin for the shop and people like me and everyone else in this thread wouldn't have the credibility of said shop on their mind.

Its alot to spend on a fox and it still only be worth $5k

If $5400 doesnt get you a motor built right from a bunch of parts in boxes. Then what does it cost to get a motor built right?

Im just looking at it from being in his shoes, I know the feeling & at the end of the day. $5400 is alot of money & should have had the guy enjoying his car with no problems. For that kind of money. Thats the shops job to find the bolts & missing parts etc etc!

1.) I live next door to Sean and will be building his 302 for his fox. Just like I built the motor in my and many other cars with 0 issues. So the way I see it, is I posted a response to Sean post not yours. Do you think it is shitty for you to make any joke you have in the past?

2.) Yes I was apart of putting Chris car together. As cobbled up mess as it was.

He brought the motor after his machine shop put it together & then brought the car to you guys with all the other parts. IE Heads & Headers & Intake & PS Pump & yada yada.

Car leaves & returns with a vibration. You guys think it has to do with Machine shops work

No dog in this fight, but the way this is currently trending, I'd like to point out that if a price is agreed on, it doesn't matter how big a piece of shit the car is or what is missing. You've made a deal to complete the work in exchange for money. He gave you the money thus holding up his end of the bargain, therefore it is up to the shop to unfuck whatever pile he showed up with that they said they would fix for that amount of money. That is just a small aspect of this, obviously, but I think it needs to be pointed out.
