The keyless entry remote stopped working on my 2003 GT the other day out of no where (both of them). The alarm still worked when I shut the door and locked the doors manually, but the entire keyless entry remote would not function. Went through checked fuses etc then reprogrammed my remote and now it works fine.
My question is, what would cause this? I have not recently programmed any new remotes (been a few months) and have never had this happen in 5 years of owning the car. Is it possible that someone could be tampering with the alarm in some way?
